About Center for Strategic Governance

Center for Strategic Governance is a not-for-profit division of INSIGHT INDIA working with Governments and Corporates in the areas of Policy Advisory, Capacity Building and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The CSG is spearheaded by a team of senior civil servants who have the expertise and experience in policy making and implementation. Our Advisory board includes retired and working civil servants, senior executives in corporates as well as subject experts.

Governments and Corporates have a changed role. Both have equal importance in nation building and socio-economic growth of the society. The policy making in government is challenged by fast paced changes spearheaded by technology and changed social systems and higher citizen expectations. Center for Strategic Governance provides policy advisory to governments enabling to cope with new strategic challenges.

The Corporates’ role and influence as well as the expectations by the society from them have gone a sea change. Beyond the pure economic function of profit making, corporates have now assumed the role of torch bearers of community development. CSR is an important way for socio-economic development.

Our work as Policy Advisor to Governments , Capacity building and CSR Advisory to Corporates are interlinked and makes the gamut of CSG objective meaningful.
